I currently live in Bend, Oregon, at the edge of the Deschutes National Forest. I can see the stars, all of them. The air smells like pine, and I hear coyotes howling at night. I dig classic movies, redheaded bullies, big kitchens, and discussing murder at the dinner table.
I’m married to the freelance journalist Nate Pedersen. My partner in crime is Erin Bowman. I am represented by Joanna Volpe at Nancy Coffey Literary Agency. My debut novel BETWEEN THE DEVIL AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA will be published by Dial, an imprint of Penguin. (Summer 2013)
